FAS GRADUATES RECEIVE
SCHOLARSHIPS
Several members of Franco American School's Class of 2009 received scholarships
during the school's graduation ceremony, which was held on June 7 at St. Marie's Church in Lowell.
The
Boyd Family Scholarship, which is given annually to a student who demonstrates school spirit, community service, leadership,
and strong effort, was awarded to Monica Tawadros. Monica will attend the Academy of Notre Dame in the fall.
Kendra Hebert and Daniela Sierra received Franco American School Scholarships. Kendra is enrolled at the Academy of
Notre Dame. Daniela will attend Bishop Guertin High School.
Alex Kasirye, Heer Patel, Jack McNamara, Evie
Bradley, and Amanda Swift received Franco American School PTO Scholarships. Alex is enrolled in Lowell High School's
Latin Lyceum. Heer will attend Lowell High School. Jack is headed for Central Catholic High School. Evie
and Amanda will attend the Academy of Notre Dame in the fall.
The 2009 FAS Valedictorian Scholarship was presented
to Jennifer Saja, who will attend the Academy of Notre Dame.
Malynna Mam and Jacob Greathead also received Franco
American School Scholarships. Jacob is enrolled in Lowell High School's Latin Lyceum, while Malynna will attend
Phillips Academy in the fall.
